Cruises to Tromso
Tromso is Norway’s 6th largest cruise port and welcomes thousands of cruise tourists every year.
In the Summer of 2008 no less than 140,000 people came to Tromso this way, travelling up the coast through fjords and the Lofoten islands on their way to the North Cape.
The most well known of them all, Hurtigruten, is an institution not only as a cruiseship but also as an important traditional means of transport for people living along the remote parts of the long Norwegian coastline.
