UK postcard models wanted in Northern Norway

Visit Northern Norway are looking for four Brits to model for postcards in Northern Norway this summer.

The new campaign to attract British tourists to Arctic Norway has been launched in the UK with a modelling competition.

Dramatic Norwegian Scenery on Underground Posters

The “Wish you were here...?” posters located throughout the London Underground shows dramatic Northern Norwegian landscapes and adventure activities, and advertise the modelling job which will go to four lucky Brits.

To enter the competition, people will have to join the campaign´s Facebook group and upload a photo of themselves in the ready-made picture in the group.

Four lucky winners will get the opportunity to travel to Northern Norway in August on an adventure holiday as well as star in a professional photo shoot for postcards which will go on sale in the region.

Ordinary, Adventure-loving People

You don´t have to be a model to enter the competition. Visit Northern Norway highlight that no experience is needed and that they are simply looking for four ordinary, adventure-loving people between the ages of 25 and 65.

“We are looking for ordinary people! Our models should have a vibrant personality and a love for the outdoors to offset the rugged and striking landscape in Northern Norway,” Cathrine Foster, Visit Norway UK said in a press release.

August Photo Shoot in Northern Norway

Potential models must make sure they are able to travel to one of three destinations in Northern Norway between the 14th and 17th of August to part take in the photo shoot.

The winner will also be allowed to bring a partner of their choice.
