Thai princess impressed with “Norway”
This year’s world exhibition in China is looking to be the most visited expo in history.
The Norwegian pavilion was popular with the Thai Crown Princess, Chakri Sirindhorn, who visited the exhibition this week.
“You have made a beautiful and interesting pavilion. Norway has an amazing coastline”, she said.
Has been to Norway
The Princess has been to Norway and the North Cape before, but said she wanted to return to the country in the future.
“I would love to visit Norway again, and then I would like to go to Svalbard.”
Popular exhibition
The Expo 2010 in China will run until 31. October, and the organisers are counting on 400,000 visitors every day until then.
This means that a whopping 70 million people will have been through the expo’s doors this year, writes Lofotposten.no.
