Scary santa film to promote Northern NorwayThe new horror movie “Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale” is to be used to sell Målselv FilmCamp in Northern Norway as a filming location.The horror film has been praised by American magazine Variety, where reviewer Jay Weissberg predicts the film could get a cult status.
Unique Northern Norwegian LandscapeThis month the film can be seen at the Toronto International Film Festival, and it is hoped the film may help promote Målselv and the rest of Northern Norway as a movie location.
“Several of the international film reviewers have been over the moon about the scenery on show in the film. Proper marketing of the Northern Norwegian movie industry could give us unique opportunities in coming years,” Knut Skoglund in Pomor Film told aftenposten.no.
