SAS on the up againNovember figures for troubled Scandinavian Airlines show the company lose passengers, but fly with fuller planes.The airliner flew 1,759 million passengers in November this year, a decline of 7,7 percent, says Reiselivsavisen.no.
Long Distance TroublesThe airliner has cut seat capacity on their intercontinental routes by 18.7 percent in November compared to last year, whilst the decline in passengers was 16,6 percent.
This lead to 2,4 percent fewer empty seats on SAS flights, and a total coverage of 78,6 percent.
Best in NorwayDespite the airline’s problems abroad, SAS are doing well in Norway.
The November figures show Norwegian passenger numbers only dropped by 0.2 percent compared to last year.
