Oslo on 10 hottest list for 2010

Norway’s capital, Oslo, has been listed as one of the ten hottest destinations for 2010 by travel publisher Dorling Kindersley.

In the Times Online Oslo is praised for its close proximity to wild nature where you can both ski and go swimming in the summer.

“Oslo is charmingly Scandinavian but with the kind of outdoor ‘chilling culture more usually associated with Southern Europe.”

With the opening of 16 new routes with Ryanair from Rygge airport in March 2010, Oslo is becoming more accessible and affordable for people looking for a different weekend break.
