More passengers – But not on timeNorwegian experienced both passenger growth and fuller planes, but the airline struggle to stick to the schedules.Figures published today show 850,000 passengers flew with Norwegian in December, a 25 per cent increase compared to last year.
New RecordIn 2009 the airline flew a total of almost 10,8 million passengers, a new record for the company, writes Reiselivsavisen.no.
The growth is mainly due the increase in routes from their new base in Copenhagen, but also on domestic flights the airline has seen improvements.
Not on TimeDespite promising passenger figures, the airline struggle to stick to their timetables.
Only six out of ten flights left on time in December 2009.
That is far worse than the main competitor, SAS, who fly from the same airports, exposed to the same weather conditions.
