Hurtigruten launch their own wine

Now you can travel through the Norwegian fjords sipping a glass of special Hurtigruten wine.

The coastal cruise liner has teamed up with Portugese wine producer Jose Maria da Fonseca for their red and white Hurtigruten wine.

Made for Hurtigruten

“The wine has been especially made for Hurtigruten and will only be available for purchase onboard the cruise ships”, says hospitality product manager, Staale Reppe to NRK.no.

Hurtigruten´s cruises operate regular voyages from Bergen to Kirkenes in Norway, as well as special cruises with MS Fram to Antarctica, Greenland, Europe and Spitzbergen.

Complement the Menu

According to Hurtigruten, the two wines have been chosen for their compatibility with the menu onboard.

“Hurtigruten´s goal is to serve exquisite food based on local produce. With these wines we feel we will be able to create the perfect meal for our guests”, says Reppe to NRK.
